Benefits

Intermountain Centers for Human Development offers an excellent benefits package to its employees. Eligibility and participation for the following benefits are subject to the terms of employment and ICHD policies and procedures.

Vacation Leave

Accrue two average shifts by end of first year (10 days for salaried staff, 80 hours for 40 hour/week staff, 116 hours for sleepover staff).

Eligible for paid vacation time after 6 months employment.

Sick/Personal Leave

Accrue nine days of sick/personal leave by end of first year.

Eligible for paid sick/personal leave after 3 months employment.

Holiday Pay

Additional pay for hours worked on holidays for eligible staff.

Health Insurance

Must work at least 25 hours per week.

Eligible on the date of the first of the month after two months of employment.

PPO plan includes doctor visits, ER, urgent care, prescription coverage.

Dental insurance covers 100% of usual/customary services, 50% of major services.

Costs to employee for individual, employee/spouse or family coverage are reviewed annually.

Life Insurance

Death benefit and accidental death/disability paid by Intermountain.

Employee-paid supplemental life insurance policy also available.

Long Term Disability Insurance Plan

Full-time employees eligible after two consecutive years of employment and currently working at least 20 hours per week.

Intermountain pays entire cost.

Retirement Plan

Eligible after one year of employment, starting on next available enrollment date.

Profit-sharing plan funded 100% by Intermountain.

Health Spa/Fitness Center

Intermountain will pay up to $200 per year towards a full-time employee's membership in a fitness center after six months of employment.

Educational Benefits

For a pre-approved, job-related course of study, employees may be reimbursed for course tuition up to a prearranged amount, with a grade of "C" or better for undergraduate and "B" or better for graduate work.

Employees are eligible after one year of employment.

Tax Deferred Annuity (403(b) plan)

Choice of two different plans.

Funded only by employee contributions with pre-tax deduction.
